History of Bunn Fertiliser

Bunn Fertiliser Limited (Bunn) was founded as a horse-feed and general agricultural merchanting company serving local farmers and growers. At the turn of the twentieth century, Bunn also specialised in the sale of herring-guts as fertiliser for the new sugar beet industry.

In the late 1960s, Bunn began to blend fertilisers from imported raw materials. This process has continued and now forms the bulk of our business. In the ensuing years, Bunn began offering spreading services, popularised the use of 'big-bags' holding 500, 750 or 1000 kgs, and were awarded the prestigious Royal Warrant for supplying fertiliser to The Queen's Sandringham Estate.

Today, Bunn continues to pride itself on its long-established relationships with farmers, co-operatives and merchants across the country. The company operates with a firm commitment to maintaining and improving its relationships with a loyal customer base and to building strategic, long-term partnerships with key suppliers.
