Bunn to feature innovative nitrogen fertiliser at AgriScot
Posted on Thursday, January 24, 2013

New to this year’s AgriScot show is fertiliser blender and distributor J&H Bunn Ltd. The company is promoting the innovative Koch Advanced Nitrogen® fertiliser, which offers the performance of ammonium nitrate with the ease of urea.

Koch Advanced Nitrogen® fertiliser has been well received on-farm and in multiple trials on arable crops and grassland across the UK. Results have established that this innovative fertiliser rivals AN in agronomic performance and crop yield.

With 46% N compared to 34.5% N for AN, Koch Advanced Nitrogen® fertiliser offers more efficient spreading and less packaging waste. It is also exempt from the transportation and storage burdens of AN.

The company will also highlight its extensive selection of fertiliser blends, formulated with more than 20 raw materials sourced from around the world. NPK blends from Bunn include wax coating technology for longer storage and enhanced spreading. Bunn also offers technical services to diagnose nutrient deficiencies and conduct soil analysis prior to providing its customised and standard blends or a range of secondary and micronutrients.

“Through Koch Advanced Nitrogen® fertiliser and our extensive portfolio of blends, Bunn is bringing innovation to Scottish farmers,” said Graeme Logan, Scotland Wholesale Manager for Bunn. “We are looking forward to discussing with farmers how they can make best use of them in their crops.”

Founded in 1816, Bunn sells straight fertilisers and custom blends through distributors.  The company has eight port terminal locations, stretching from Montrose to Falmouth, providing a complete service to British agriculture.

The AgriScot show is scheduled on 21 November. The Bunn display is located at stand number 35 in the Highland Hall. More information about the wide range of products and services offered by Bunn is available at www.jhbunn.co.uk - T: 08451 662222.
